Firemonkeys to take over development of The Sims Mobile

The Sims Mobile announced today that development of The Sims Mobile will be moving to Firemonkeys studio, the studio that develops The Sims Freeplay. Both Maxis and Firemonkeys are working to make the transition as smooth as possible. The Sims Mobile players should be able to continue to play the game as they do now, although new content may be delayed as the Firemonkeys studio ramps up. Maxis will continue to work on The Sims 4 for PC and Console and Firemonkeys will work on The Sims Freeplay and The Sims Mobile.

SimGuruFrost also confirmed in the comments to the announcement that there will be a new CM, who will come from the Firemonkeys studio, for The Sims Mobile.
