With a little over a week until the release of The Sims 4 Discover University pack, we’re starting to get more info on your Sims’ prospective alma maters in the latest blog. Which one will you choose?
University of Britechester appears to be modelled on the Russell Group/Ivy League type school, with a focus on Humanities, while the Foxbury Institute is a more modern faculty, favouring the STEM curriculum. Both schools offer all degrees, but some to a higher level (Degree v Distinguished Degree) Quite what impact this has on your Sim’s long term prospects is as yet unknown.
Once you decide where you’re going, you need to figure out how to pay for it. As with previous iterations of the game, various scholarships are available to your Sim – and keeping up your grade is paramount to receiving the top funding. No scholarship? No problem – you can now take out student loans. Just work hard to pay them off, as missing payments will no doubt have consequences!
Once you get there, classes lectures and term papers will keep you busy academically.
Both schools appear to offer their own forms of entertainment, with UBrite offering art classes by the canal and Foxbury offering robot building classes and juice pong. Whichever you go to, the School Spirit appears strong – which mascot will you follow?
Bridging the gap between study and social, you can join a study group – but are they all what they seem?
Have a watch of the latest trailer for more info!
The Sims 4 Discover University is out 15th November on PC and 17th December on consoles. What are you waiting for?
