But don’t worry, there is a new skill to help you with all this, the parenting skill! Which will come in handy, because your parenting decisions will now have long term consequences, in the form of “Character Values Traits“. As a parent you have the responsibility to teach the children good manners, like setting the table, trying not to burp or swear. Or don’t teach them all that of course, what ever you choose, they affect Sims in their lives forever, positive or negative. There will be new traits, but nothing yet on how many or what kind exactly.

Family time

But there are also all sort of fun family projects to do. Aside from the setting the table for a family dinner, your Sims that go to school bring home school projects, and parents or siblings can help with them! Ever wanted to build a volcano, how about a rocket? Go for it! Or maybe your little baby is a future doctor, they can practice on the teddy bear for now.
