Yesterday evening the newest The Sims 4 expansion pack was officially announced, The Sims 4 Discover University.
A trailer and a blog were released where we could see lots of new things coming in this pack.
The Sims 4 Discover University will release world wide on November 15th 2019 on PC/Mac and on December 17th 2019 on Console.
Like the name already suggests, it’s all about that University life. Your Sims can choose between 2 schools, the modern Foxbury Institute or the traditional University of Britechester (U of B).
Made a choice? Great, then you can choose if you want to live on campus in a dorm, or off campus. Bike around the neighbourhood to discover your University.
Choose between different classes like biology, computer science, villainy (really? Apparently), you can attend lectures, have to work on term papers and give presentations.
Attending classes, or not, will affect your grades. The better you do, the better your Sims will be in their future careers.
You can also join school organizations, like debate, art or robotics! As well as just blow off some steam by playing juice pong, or just hang out. But there is a rumour that there is also a mysterious secret society looking for new members.
Things we noticed in the trailer and screenshots
A lot was shown in the screenshots, the trailer and told in the blog. So lets delve into a few of them, shall we?
Sims can play with a foot ball/soccer ball. This is seen a few times in the trailer.
There seem to be some sort of prostetic possible, as this girl is wearing one in what looks like robotics school club
Aside from new general CAS items, this guy has an eyebrow piercing! Highly requested by many, so that’s awesome news.
And one other thing that has been requested often, is bathroom stalls. Looks like we get them, the very American version though. Do you see those gaps around the door? Not sure how much privacy that actually gives. The girl in the stall is so sad though! hope her friend consoles her.
Talking about highly requested, back in The Sims, is shower woohoo! Because who doesn’t want to get steamy with their love interest. Wink wink.
Play ping pong at the local bar, do a keg stand with juice, at least, we think it’s juice.
And give presentations for credit.
But at the end, they all strive for the same goal, Graduation. What University will you Sim graduate from?
The Sims 4 Discover University will release on November 15th 2019 on PC and December 17th 2019 on console
