The Sims 4 Fashion Street and Incheon Arrivals Kits review

Written by moza

The latest The Sims 4 kits landed this week – The Sims 4 Fashion Street and Incheon Arrivals Kits – and thanks to the EA Creator Network, we received codes to review the kits.

The Sims 4 Fashion Street Kit

The official description for this is:

Expand your style with The Sims™ 4 Fashion Street Kit collection, inspired by the trendsetting designs of Mumbai. Rich colors, iconic silhouettes, and high-contrast patterns bring energy and vibrancy to each item. Show off your individuality by integrating trendy statement pieces with traditional details for a whole new style.

As you may expect, there’s a lot of flowing silhouettes and rich jewel tones.  It meshes well with some of the items that were released in The Sims 4 City Living.

In total, the Fashion Street kit contains

  • 4 new accessories – earrings, glasses, a nose piercing and a choker.  The choker is coded feminine, the others are both
  • 5 tops – 2 feminine, 3 masculine
  • 6 full body outfits – 3 feminine, 3 masculine
  • 6 bottoms – 3 feminine, 3 masculine, 1 coded for both
  • 2 pairs of sandals coded for both
  • 4 styled looks, 2 each masculine and feminine

There is no new hair, and clothing is set for teens to elders, there’s nothing new for younger age groups – this is the same in both kits.   The styling is very distinctive for the most part, however some of the items have swatches that make them very versatile.

The Sims 4 Incheon Arrivals Kit

Upgrade your Sim’s wardrobe with The Sims™ 4 Incheon Arrivals Kit*, inspired by iconic Seoul airport fashion. Trendy Korean styles get a modernized twist for clean, minimalist looks in muted colorways.

The feel of this pack is a lot softer, with a lot of neutrals.  Think of the kind of clothes you could travel in, but still feel smart on arrival.

In total, the kit contains:

  • 7 tops – 4 feminine, 3 masculine
  • 4 full body outfits – 2 feminine, 2 masculine
  • 6 bottoms – 3 feminine, 1 masculine, 2 coded for both
  • 3 shoes – 2 coded the same(trainers) 1 pair of feminine boots
  • 4 styled looks, 2 each masculine and feminine

As above, there are no hairs, or clothing for sims younger than teen.  There’s also no accessories with this kit.  The styling is chilled and relaxed, and I love the more neutral, muted palette here.

Overall, I like both these kits, If I were to pick a favourite, the Incheon Arrivals kit fits in more with the general aesthetic in my game, but the Fashion Street has some interesting pieces – the variety of swatches available makes them very versatile.
